Wabi- Sabi

I have this book upstairs, read it a couple times in my life. It will take you thirty or forty minutes but the essence of Japanese aesthetics is in this book. All things have life. We can respect and learn to care for a pebble, a piece of sea glass, a decaying rose hip. Have empathy for the spider in your bathtub. Be mono aware of the music in simple things. Nothing is permanent but the moment we experience the tiny. If you live nearby, I'll loan this book to you. If you are far away go find it at the library and smile. Wabi - sabi
